Creative Freelancer Survey – Please Help

Creative Edinburgh is running a creative freelancer survey to help understand the current state of the local sector, following the enormous disruption of Covid, Brexit, and all of the other calamities which the world has gone over the last few years.

Aimed at every freelancer, independent professional (full or part-time), the survey was developed in collaboration with local creative freelance professionals, academic researchers and partnering organisations interested in gathering data relating to the sector, as the activity and growth of the creative industries evolves.

The purpose of this research survey is to better understand the needs and experiences of creative freelancers and the wider sector. This survey is being conducted by Creative Edinburgh with support from Creative Informatics and Edinburgh Napier.

The results will be shared by Creative Edinburgh in a public report and with neighbouring third-sector industry support organisations for the purpose of producing evidence on the activity of the freelance and creative sectors.

Participation is voluntary and all of the information collated from the survey will be anonymised.

The online survey that will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The survey questions will be about your experiences and needs as a freelancer and that of the wider sector.
