YAHAHA, the social entertainment platform focused upon user-generated content (UGC), where anyone can create, modify, share, collaborate and play with 3D content, is opening an early access programme for interested developers and creators.
Yahaha is a ‘metaverse platform’ dedicated to user-generated content. Created by a team of Unity veterans, it offers a complete modular set of services for ‘no code’ game development. This approach enables developers of varying experience levels to create and monetise games using Yahaha Studio’s editing tool.
In early January 2022, the company raised $50 million of funding, which will be used to increase the capabilities of its platform and support its multiplatform publishing capabilities, enabling users to make their games available across all devices.
Chris Zhu, Yahaha CEO, said:
Connecting users around the world through virtual entertainment, Yahaha offers a unique creative and social experience to game developers and gamers alike. Through Yahaha we are empowering creators at all levels, from established developers to those making their first game – everyone can be a creator in our virtual world. We’re really looking forward to fully launching this year, growing our team and bringing the first stage of our vision for the future of content creation to life.
