GameDayLive Nets Global Publishing Deal

GameDayLive Nets Global Publishing Deal

A lot of us like to talk a big game about how our shaman-like managerial insights in Championship Manager are enough to make Steven Clarke look like Berti Vogts, but with only the computer to compete against, there’s never truly been a good way to prove it.

That’s set to change thanks to Dundee-based Digital Sports Arena, who this year will be asking all the bedroom Wenger’s to put their money where their mouth is with GameDayLive, a real time, player versus player football management game.

Or maybe we should say bus stop Wengers, given GameDayLive is a fast-paced, streamlined management game designed specifically for mobile and playing on the go. It’s a natural move for Digital Sports Arena, who have worked on the mobile version of Championship Manager with Square Enix for more than a decade. They’re also receiving extra development assistance from Dundee’s Hyper Luminal Games, the team behind the chaotic multiplayer combat game Big Crown Showdown.

GameDayLive will be published worldwide later this year by Playstack, a London-based label specialising in mobile games whose catalogue includes Snatch, a brand-integrated Pokemon Go-like augmented game and the Doctor Who VR puzzler The Edge of Time

“We are thrilled to be working with Digital Sports Arena and their innovative new football management game – GameDayLive.  Playstack is constantly on the look out for new games that can cut through in the busy app stores and truly engage players, and we are confident that GameDayLive has all of the right ingredients for success.”

Harvey Elliott, Founder and CEO of Playstack

An official launch date is yet to be announced, but make sure to follow Digital Sports Arena on twitter for the latest updates. In the meantime, we’ll be over here reading Building the Yellow Wall and preparing to blow you out of the digital dugout.
