ProtoPlay, the culmination of the Tranzfuser 2020 competition is open for business, but this year takes place as an entirely online format.
Until October 1, all 27 Tranzfuser teams are now featured on the ProtoPlay site, each with their own individual team page including video and links to playable versions of their games (if they have a playable version of their game).

All of the teams have been working remotely over the summer, with the support of the local hubs and the UK Games Fund network of community contributors, based thorughout the UK, to create working prototypes of their games.
While the need to work remotely, has missed some of the intensity of working in a studio environment, the UKGF team has worked hard to ensure all of the team have been supported throughout the competition.
Paul Durrant, UK Games Fund founder and CEO, told GamesIndustry.biz:
Although the ‘team hothouse’ factor has been missing this year — and remote working is definitely second best when you are in learning mode — we can still make Tranzfuser work.
Should they be invited, teams taking part in the competition, will be able to pitch for further support from the UK Games Fund should they be invited.
With that in mind, ProtoPlay 2020 will include a new career element for those teams looking to continue their game development experience beyond the competition.
Colin MacDonald will be running an exclusive edition of his excellent Games Jobs Live events for teams taking part in Tranzfuser.
ProtoPlay 2020 runs from Thursday September 24 – Thursday October 1.
