The 2015 BAFTA Scotland NEW TALENT Awards are now open for entries.
The New Talent awards recognise, inspire and celebrate students and new and emerging practitioners from all over the country and gives up-and-coming screen industry talent a platform to showcase their work to the wider industries.
New Talent is open to students and emerging professionals in the moving image industries – including games. Creators and developers are invited to submit films, documentaries, animation, original music, entertainment programmes and of course games for consideration.
This is an opportunity for student projects, new developers, graduates, teams formed for game jams, initial releases from new studios, amateur or part-time developers to win a BAFTA. In recent years, games including Lub Vs Dub – an entrant from the Scottish Game Jam and Mr Montgomery’s Debonair Facial Hair – a Dare To Be Digital entrant have picked up New Talent awards.
The entry fee is £30 per entry per category.
The closing date for entries is Monday 19 January 2015 at 5pm.
The entry guidelines and rules can be found here.
