Creative Scotland is the national development agency for Scotland’s arts, screen and creative industries. We want people to work with us to support Scotland’s cultural strength and to celebrate the success of Scotland’s creativity both at home and internationally.
We are looking for a Development Officer to work with us, assessing and making recommendations on a range of funding applications, projects and funding programmes across digital innovation, creative technology and design.
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in digital innovation, creative technology or design. They will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of working across a variety of projects. They will also have a strong understanding and knowledge of the creative industries in Scotland. An awareness of how digital technology interfaces with areas of the arts, screen or creative industries is essential. Undertaking the detailed assessment of proposals and making informed recommendations is a key aspect of this role. Strong interpersonal skills and team working with the ability to develop and establish partnerships both at home and abroad and a commitment to our core values are essential.
The person appointed will work closely with artists, creative practitioners, cultural organisations, local authorities and other key stakeholders to support the delivery of projects.
