The team at Scottish Development International have passed on information about an event taking place in February next year, aimed at companies involved in educational gaming and game-based learning.
Titled, Knowledge Is Great(Britain), the event will introduce British companies to the Danish Government and Ministry Of Education. Denmark has an ambitious plan to significantly upgrade IT infrastructure in the Danish Education sector. This includes a large investment of approximately £45 million in digital learning materials between now and 2015 with a focus on Serious Gaming in Education.
Knowledge Is Great will take place in Aarhus in Denmark. There is limited space, with a maximum of 15 companies from the UK being invited to attend. There are costs involved. Companies wishing to attend are being asked to pay £816, though UKTI are offering a 50% discount on this amount. This does not include travel or accommodation.
