Dundee indie studio LowTek Games, has announced its upcoming multiplayer title, Endless Estate – Coming soon to Steam and VIVERSE.
Known for pushing creative boundaries across retro hardware and modern platforms – from NES and Dreamcast homebrew to accessibility tools like Dislectek – developer Alastair Low’s latest project shifts focus to atmospheric, multiplayer roguelite strategy.
Procedural Architecture Meets Haunted House Survival
In Endless Estate, players find themselves trapped inside a shifting, paranormal manor. Rather than navigating a pre-determined map, players dynamically construct their own escape route using room-drafting mechanics.
Every time a player approaches a doorway, they choose which room to draft on the other side, gradually expanding a labyrinthine estate. The core objective is simple: find an exit. However, each drafted chamber introduces new environmental hazards, occult puzzles, and roaming entities:
- Drafting Mechanics: Choose which rooms to append to the floor plan in real time, balancing the hunt for exit pathways against the risk of opening dangerous spaces.
- Monster Ecology: Learn specific occult rituals and behavioural patterns required to summon, trap, or banish a menagerie of supernatural threats, including vampires, demons, ghosts, poltergeists, and fairies.
- Multiplayer Co-op & Solo Play: Explore the estate either as a solitary investigator or team up online with friends to coordinate room choices, distribute puzzle items, and survive together.
- LowTek Aesthetic: Blending LowTek’s signature retro-inspired sensibilities with modern indie roguelite pacing.
