To be eligible, the game must be created by a company which has a ‘substantial’ base in Scotland and the developer must own at least 51% of the intellectual property (IP). The game must have been ‘released’ i.e. publicly available between 26 May 2022 – 10 May 2023.
The awards are open to all developers – from part-time indie creators and student teams, through to professional studios. Games can be for any platform, of any genre and use any business model, from free-to-play to subscription service, cloud gaming, premium content and beyond. Experiential and applied games are also eligible.
