NoCode & Hutch Named In GamesIndustry.biz Best Places To Work

Two companies with offices in Scotland have been named in the GamesIndustry.biz Best Places To Work Awards 2021.

NoCode & Hutch

Glasgow-based NoCode, the studio behind multiple award-winning games, Stories Untold and Observation, and Hutch, the mobile racing specialist which has an office in Dundee, were both included in the top 20 games businesses in the UK, based upon an in-depth employee survey.

The entrants were asked questions around pay, holiday, benefits, social activity, company culture, etc. Staff at each company were then sent an in-depth questionnaire with over 50 questions covering topics including working environment, work/life balance, management, diversity, etc.

This is not the first time either studio has reached the top 20. NoCode was also named one of the UK’s best places to work in 2019, while Hutch reached the list in 2020.
