SDI: Virtual Trade Mission to China

Scottish Development International (SDI) is inviting Scottish games companies – those making games, and those in the wider games industry – to participate in a virtual trade mission and games sector panel session on 27th July (08:00-10:00).

The session will focus upon the opportunities within the Chinese market, but will also recognise the challenges faced when entering this market and discuss how to tackle them. This session will be open to all Scottish companies wishing to take part.

The session will be entirely online, and free of charge to participants.

The following sectoral experts will be included:

  • InGame
  • Perfect World (providing an insight into the games market
  • Karen Hu from Merits and Tree Law (including market entry, regulations, IP, and obtaining an ISBN)
  • JWDK (covering marketing and promotion)

In addition to the panel session, SDI is also offering one-to-one meetings with companies from China for up to 12 x participants, running 28th – 30th July.

To register, please email Paul Campbell and clearly state whether you wish to join the panel session only or apply for one-to-one meetings.

The deadline to apply is the 28th May 2021.
