Our friends at Games Jobs Live are back with a series of events this month, kicking off with their first livestream of 2021.
On Wednesday 10th February at 4pm, Games Jobs Live will be talking to Sharkmob, MAG Interactive, Kwalee and Dundee’s very own Outplay about what they’re currently getting up to and – most importantly – what positions they’re looking to fill.

Game Parade: Spring 2021
A few weeks later marks the return of the Games Jobs Lives game jam, the Game Parade. This Spring 2021 edition commences at 7pm on Sunday February 21st and will run until the following Sunday February 28th at midnight.
Just like the last Game Parade, the jam offers UK developers a chance to flaunt their talents before a panel of established developers and publishers, including Team 17, Sumo Digital’s Red Kite Games and Scottish companies Blazing Griffin, Junkfish and Hunted Cow.

UK Games Industry Internships, Graduate Schemes and Traineeships
Rounding out the month, Games Jobs Live are partnering with skills and careers service Into Games for an overview of internships, traineeships and graduate schemes available in the UK.
This event is an absolute must for those looking to find their way into the industry, providing an insight into the kind of entry level positions that are available as well as how to prepare a winning portfolio. Again, there will be a strong team of industry insiders on hand to dish out the wisdom, including staff from Ubisoft, Creative Assembly and Sumo Digital.
In addition to the above events, Games Jobs Live run a busy Discord server that’s an invaluable place for networking and sharing advice with your peers. The discussion during all of these and future events takes place on the Discord, so make sure to sign up to any of the above events to receive an invite to join in the conversation.
