Jude McLaverty, the director of BAFTA Scotland told us:

The sheer wealth and diversity of Scottish television, film and games continues to grow each year. We had an extraordinary response to last year’s call for entries resulting in one of the best award ceremonies we’ve ever hosted. Also, it’s worth noting that we’re excited to announce the re-instatement of the Short Film category in this years role call. Here’s to 2015, we’re sure it will be nothing short of outstanding.

With Scotland’s film output remaining low and television productions few and far between, the BAFTA Scotland games category is an amazing opportunity to show the rest of the screen industries how prolific and diverse the country’s games sector really is.
