Hunted Cow has established itself as an expert in the online role-playing game market and is now doing the same in the mobile strategy genre.
The company’s latest release is Tank Battle: East Front 1941. It’s another title created in collaboration with strategy specialists HexWar and marks the studio’s first collaboration with Lordz Games Studio, the company behind Panzer Corps.
In Tank Battle: East Front 1941, players do battle as either the Germans or the Soviets on both summer and winter terrain.
As war escalates, both sides trade obsolete equipment, such as the Panzer I and T-26, for more advanced units, which include flamethrower infantry and heavy machine guns.
Players who enjoyed the company’s previous Tank Battle games should enjoy East Front 1941. The game utilises a major upgrade of the game engine used in the previous titles.
East Front 1941 contains three campaigns for a total of 23 missions. Hunted Cow plans to release more in the coming weeks with expansions Tank Battle: East Front 1942, 1943, 1944, and 1945.
In addition to the single-player campaign, the game features a pass-and-play mode, allowing multiple players to compete on a single device.
Tank Battle East Front: 1941 is a universal iOS app, suitable for use on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It’s out now and costs $1.99/£1.49/€1.59.
