Richard Wilson, the CEO of TIGA told us:

As the network for developers and digital publishers, it’s been incredibly rewarding to see how positively the UK video game community has respond so positively to this opportunity to gain due recognition for their achievements and showcase their work.

This year has seen the best TIGA Games Industry Awards yet, which is particularly encouraging given the TIGA Awards are especially designed to celebrate the best in creativity, technological innovation and games business at all levels and in all sectors of the UK games industry.

We wanted to reward the achievements of everyone that contributes to the UK’s games business. Given the incredibly high standards of all this year’s entries, especially the finalists, meant picking winners was harder than ever for our judges.

I’d like to thank all of our event sponsors and partners, as well as everyone who has supported and entered the TIGA awards. Lastly I’d like to congratulate this year’s winners, they are all fully deserving of their moment in the spotlight. I look forward to the UK games community resuming the battle for glory in 2014.
