screenshot8Ancient Battle: Rome is a turn-based, hex-based strategy game, which pits the might of imperial Rome against various barbarians, savages and beastly tribes around the ancient world.

The game features unit types including Roman legionaries, elephants, catapults, heavy and light cavalry, archers, slingers, fanatics, chariots and more.

The game features Caesar’s campaign in Gaul, which culminated in the siege of Alesia, as well as the campaign between Julius Caesar and Pompey the Great. Players can also purchase an additional campaign based upon the invasion of Brittania, including the battle of Verulamum at which Queen Boudicca was killed.
