The Digital 2013 conference and exhibition ‘Connecting Scotland’s Digital & Creative Industries‘ has announced the first speakers taking part in the SECC, Glasgow on April 25th.
The big news is that games will be represented, with Chillingo COO Edward Rumley taking to the stage. If you’ve not been paying closer attention to the mobile sector, Chillingo was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2010 and Edward has championed the indie games scene several times in the media. Chillingo also works with a number of developers in Scotland, notably Cobra, to publish the development studio’s best-selling iBomber series of games.
Here’s the list of speakers:
Matt McAlister: Director of Digital Strategy, Guardian Media Group
Edward Rumley: COO, Chillingo, Electronic Arts
Tom Hall: VP Education Technology Partnerships, Pearson
David Amers: Head of Planning, Leithal Thinking
Jim Wolff: Digital Planner, Leithal Thinking
David Craik: Director, Bright Signals
Andrew Burnett: Head of Social, Yard Digital
Tickets for Digital 2013 are available now, priced at £50.
