Game In Scotland, the country’s largest recruitment event for the videogames, i
nteractive and digital media sector has today announced it’s keynote speaker for 2013.
Romana Ramzan will be opening the whole event. If you’ve not met Romana at some point in the last few years, you’ve clearly not been to any of the major games events, conferences, jams, expos, festivals, or networked. Ever.
Romana has been involved in the Scottish games community for many years. Now working in Dundee as Denki’s Player Champion, Romana was recently appointed to the IGDA Scotland Board of Directors and was named as one of Develop magazine’s 30 Under 30. In a former life Romana was the driving force behind Scottish Game Jam, an academic, a globe trotter, a football fanatic and a cake enthusiast, though not necessarily in that order.
Game In Scotland is a FREE event, organised by Interactive Tayside, Scottish Enterprise and Locate Dundee. It’s Scotland’s largest recruitment fair for the interactive industry and will feature over 30 game developers and digital media companies.
With 20+ exhibitors, speakers and panels, it’s the perfect opportunity for students, graduates, industry professionals, high school students and parents to find out more about the interactive world and the opportunities it offers for creative careers and budding entrepreneurs
