Despite the company’s closure, the final projects from Cohort in Dundee are still working their way onto the market. Me Monstar was announced a few weeks ago, but the company’s chess game has just hit the PlayStation in North America, with a European launch to follow next week.
The game is available exclusively as a PlayStation network ‘Mini’ game, for the PS3 and PSP. Aimed at every level of player, from novices to grand masters, the game is described as ‘addictively playable’ and a ‘must for any collection’.
If you’re a PlayStation 3 or PSP owner, keep an eye on PlayStation network over the next week for your chance to choose chess. No word on price yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
