Dundee, city of many discoveries. Home to jute, journalism and the all-new Dundee Game Jam. Taking place at Abertay University on (Saturday) May 28th, from 09.30 – 17.00.
It’s open to students, professional game developers, ex game developers, reformed games developers, talented amateurs and anyone who can put together the basic pieces of a videogame.
It’s a jam – therefore informal – so participants need to bring their own kit and not be precious with the good ideas.
It’s FREE to participate too, so there’s no excuse for not getting involved. If you want to work in games and you don’t have anything playable and fun in your portfolio, this is the perfect opportunity to get your hands dirty.
Register for the event over at Eventbrite.
The organisers have said they welcome teams from the various games developers across Scotland – so spread the word and see who else fancies creating something indie and awesome.
The jam is being sponsored by the good people at Abertay University, Dare to be Digital and Dare Protoplay.
