The Glasgow Indie Games Festival 2025 (GIGF) has announced a major coup for its second year, securing the BAFTA-winning developer poncle as its title sponsor and legendary indie publisher Devolver Digital as its first-ever Launch Night sponsor.
The support from two of the most respected names in independent games is a huge vote of confidence in the grassroots festival, which is set to return to the Barras Art and Design Building on Saturday, 9th August 2025.
Poncle, the creative force behind the genre-defining global hit Vampire Survivors, has been a supporter of GIGF since its inception. Their elevated role as title sponsor underscores their commitment to the UK’s indie development scene.
Julie Craig, Chief Operations Officer at poncle, told the SGN:
