Develop, the UK’s most popular game developer event game development conference is leaving its Brighton home for a one-day event, Develop: North, which takes place in Liverpool.
Develop: North takes place on November 14, 2024, at The Spine in Liverpool.
Develop has become a mainstay on the UK game industry calendar and takes place in Brighton in July. The show attracted a record number of attendees this year, with 5225 people heading to the seaside in 2024 – an increase of 5% on the previous year.
Attendees can expect seven tracks (Art, Audio, Business, Coding, Design, Discoverability, and Indie) covering almost every discipline, as well as a keynote and post-conference networking.

Amongst the speakers are Lovewish’s Nina Roussakoff who joins Dr Jackie Mulligan from Game Republic as one of the panellists in Running a Studio in Turbulent Times. Attendees can also look forward to Tips and Tricks from a Music Supervisor to Navigate Music Licensing in Games from renowned music supervisor, Irma de Wind.
