Edinburgh Theatre Announces Immersive Creatives Its First Ever Event For Immersive Creators, Developers & Students
Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre – the home of new writing – is holding its first ever event for developers and creators working with immersive technology (VR/AR/XR/MR).
Immersive Creatives is part of the theatre’s Festival programme, taking place at 18:00 on August 19th. The event is free, but ticketed.
Immersive Creatives is hosted by Adrian Hon, founder and former CEO of alternate reality games studio Six to Start. Adrian co-created Zombies, Run! and the Perplex City ARG. He has also worked with Disney Imagineering, the Serpentine, and MoMA, and won Best of Show at SXSW Interactive.
Anyone involved in immersive reality work is invited to attend. Any creator or student working with immersive theatre, installation art, escape rooms, video games, film, TV, VR/AR/XR, and anything else immersive is welcome.
Attendees will be invited to promote their own events and work, with more details coming via email.
