To date we have run 14 workshops online and across Scotland gathering data to create Scotland’s Games Strategy.
Participation has been great, with over 150 people taking part, from across the games ecosystem, with developers, publishers, educators, public sector and government all taking part and contributing over 1000 data points across ten separate topics.
However, we want to ensure that everyone across the games community has a chance to participate. After consultation with partners, we are offering an additional three online workshops, to ensure we have voices from several groups who did not have the greatest representation at the workshops.
We have a workshop which will be women-only. One for trans and non-binary people and a low-sensory session aimed at neurodiverse people and those with accessibility issues.
The dates for each workshop are:
- Tuesday 30th April [17:30-19:30] – Women only (this session is trans-inclusive).
- Wednesday 1st May [17:30-19:30] – Trans and non-binary people
- Thursday 2nd May [18:00-20:00] – Low Sensory session [Cameras off, close-captions on, data can be gathered during or after the workshop using whatever means the delegates request]
Each session will be two hours long and will be held online using Zoom. All of the sessions are free to attend.
Please use the links above to register your place. People who have attended previous live or online workshops are very welcome to attend one of these new sessions to see the progrees to date.
If you have any questions, would like more information on a particular workshop, Scotland’s games strategy, or have a request which would make your participation easier, do please contact us directly.
