Latest Release From Fife’s Cloud Colony Games Hits Steam In Q2 2024
Wolf Peak: The Case of Ruth Choi is an original new game for Steam, from Dunfermline-based Cloud Colony Games. Set in 1991 players take the role of a detective working on an unsolved crime – the murder of Ruth Choi.
The original investigation identified six key suspects, but failed to identify the killer. Now the cold case has reopened and you – as an independent detective – must use your intuition and deductive reasoning to finally bring the perpetrator to justice.
From watching the original suspect interviews, to searching and testing the evidence collected from the case, it’s down to the player to find the person they believe was responsible…

In the small idyllic town of Wolf Peak, the murder of a young woman called Ruth Choi, shocked the community in 1991.
Two detectives were put onto the case and managed to whittle it down to six suspects. However, the detectives were never able to close the case due to insufficient evidence.
Years have passed and now you have been brought into Wolf Peak to solve this case. Through the passage of time, evidence testing and technology has vastly improved.
Coming up to retirement, Captain Simmons would love to get this case solved. He re-opens the case and brings you, an out of town detective, in to solve the case.

Wolf Peak: The Case of Ruth Choi is a crime-solving game. You have been set up in one of the rooms of the Wolf Peak Police Department and left alone with the case to solve.
Whodunnit?
One unique selling point for the game is that fact that the outcome is not necessarily as neat and clear cut as many of the crime dramas on TV. Cloud Colony is offering a far more nebulous outcome where you may never know if your reasoning and decision was definitely right. The game will offer hints about the killer and leaves players guessing about their final deduction.
