While Scotland’s games industry is undoubtedly bigger than ever, and growing strong, there still remain areas for improvement, and certain key skills that are underrepresented in the current workforce. The Dundee Games Skills Crisis Employers Roundtable event seeks to address this problem.
Search and Destroy
Held at Dundee’s Abertay University on the 19th of January, and facilitated by SKILLful’s Gina Jackson, OBE, the event will take a data-driven approach to tackling the games skills deficit, looking at data from 10,000 games jobs that have been advertised in the last 12 months, and identifying problem areas.
The means of addressing these problem areas will then be discussed by a roundtable of employers from across the games industry. If you fit this criteria, then this event is an ideal opportunity for you to have a positive impact on the future of the industry, and contribute to the necessary change that will take Scottish Games from good to great.
Tickets for the event are free, and are available here.
