Elgin-based developer Hunted Cow Studios has undergone a full rebranding, rising from the ashes as Hunted Cow Games just ahead of the company’s 20th anniversary.
The change comes alongside a major revamp to the company website, a two-pronged approach intended to “better reflect who we are today, and the energy we’re bringing into our future!”, according to company Director Andrew Mulholland.

Founded in 2003, Hunted Cow Studios has used more or less the same logo since, with some minor variations. This is despite the company itself undergoing major shifts and advances, developing games across both PC and mobile, in both the MMO and Strategy genres.
Working alongside design company Fully Illustrated, and web developers CodeThirtyTwo, the team have crafted a brand new, future-ready image with which to forge forward. It’s an image which, Mulholland notes, couldn’t come soon enough: “As a small team, things like updating the website were always put on the backburner. We were starting to get positively embarrassed around recruitment time; not only was our website not telling potential hires anything about who we are, it wasn’t doing our games any justice either. We’ve fixed that by putting our games front and centre where they belong.”
