LevelUp Digital is a brand new, free-to-attend, digital up-skilling and re-skilling programme designed for creative industries professionals, sole traders, recent graduates and previous practitioners looking to re-enter the sector.
Designed and delivered by creative business pro’s, LevelUp Digital focuses on the current and future needs of the industry, ensuring that those taking the course will get relevant, future-proofed content.
LevelUp Digital offers a tailored programme of digital training, mentorship, networking opportunities, business development sessions, masterclasses and unique insights from leading professionals, offering attendees high-level sector specific training in areas including digital marketing, content production, online events, crowd economy models and more.
Open to creative practitioners, 25 years and over and resident anywhere in Scotland, the course will support participants to develop the skills, confidence, networks and market awareness required to drive their creative career forward in the digital space.
Coursework will require a minimum of five hours per week commitment and will be delivered as a highly immersive, fully online programme to enable maximum flexibility for participants’ existing commitments.
The course is open everyone across the whole of the creative industries, including: visual and performing arts, cultural education, crafts, textiles, fashion, photography, music, writing and publishing, advertising, libraries, archives, antiques, architecture, design, film and video, TV and radio, software and electronic publishing, and videogames.
Applications are open now and close at 17:00 on Monday 13th December, with the course starting on Monday 10th January.
LevelUp Digital is delivered by Ironworks Venue and is supported by the National Transition Training Fund.
