Cartoon Network, part of Turner Broadcasting, is a popular cable channel that reaches more than 99 million US households with animated programming targeting kids and young adults . Some popular series include Adventure Time, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Tower Prep, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
As part of the PAX East Conference, the largest video game conference in North America, Jim Dolan from our US East Coast team met with executives from the company. Cartoon Network said that while they do not do their own game development, they work with independent game companies that develop games based on their IP. When asked if they would consider working with Scottish companies, they responded affirmatively but, said that the company must be able to create family friendly games that share the Network’s sense of humor. Jim has promised to send on a select list of Scottish companies that has these abilities, which Cartoon Network may consider working with in the future.
