Scotland’s largest celebration of tabletop gaming, Tabletop Scotland, is set to welcome thousands of players this weekend, from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th September, in its brand new and significantly larger home at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh.
Now in its sixth year, the convention has grown from a passionate community gathering into a cornerstone of the Scottish gaming calendar. The move to the Royal Highland Centre marks a major step up for the event, offering more space for playing, more exhibitors, and more opportunities for the entire community to come together and celebrate a shared love of board games, card games, and role-playing games.
Run by a dedicated team of volunteers, Tabletop Scotland is known for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect event for seasoned veterans and curious newcomers alike.
Attendees this weekend can look forward to:
- A Massive Open Play Area: With a huge library of games available to borrow, it’s the perfect chance to try something new or play an old favourite.
- A Packed Exhibitor Hall: Discover and buy new games directly from the creators and publishers.
- RPG Sessions & Tournaments: A full schedule of role-playing games and organised play events.
- Special Guests & Events: A chance to meet designers and personalities from across the tabletop world.
The continued growth and success of Tabletop Scotland is a powerful testament to the passion and creativity within Scotland’s diverse games ecosystem. It’s a wonderful opportunity to step away from the screen, roll some dice, and connect with the thriving tabletop community.
Tickets for the weekend are still available but are selling fast.
