This is the RESET 2025 programme, funded by Screen Scotland via the BFI National Lottery Skills Cluster Fund and delivered by TRC Media. It’s your chance to join Scotland’s world-renowned creative community, getting paid the Real Living Wage (currently £12.60 per hour) while you learn on the job for eight months. You’ll secure a fixed-term contract directly with a leading Scottish host company.

This tailored programme, which mixes online and in-person sessions, is designed to fast-track your transition, equipping you with industry-critical skills in production, software, teamwork, and more.

RESET is designed for people keen to transfer existing skills and experience from any sector (like retail, hospitality, admin, events etc.) into these exciting creative industries. Key Eligibility Highlights:
- Age: 18+ (no upper age limit – career changers and returners welcome!)
- Location: Must live in Scotland and have the right to work in the UK (Placements likely mix remote/office work).
- Education: Cannot be in full-time education from July 2025. No specific degree needed, though relevant qualifications are welcome.
- Experience: No prior animation, VFX, or games experience required (though a passion for these areas is key!)

- Creative Technology Design Assistant: (Glasgow) Explore AI and real-time engines (Unity/Unreal) for innovative projects; perfect for curious tech-creatives.
- Production Co-ordinator/Assistant: (Location TBC) Be the organisational heart of a studio, supporting teams, managing resources, and helping operations run smoothly.
