The second version of Scotland’s Games Action Plan is open for industry consultation. To ensure that every participant has the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback and discuss the recommendations, I’ve created a series of eight online drop-in sessions to speak directly to the games ecosystem.
The drop-in sessions are open to everyone working in or adjacent to the games sector. Feedback is welcome from all participants, from company founders, studio heads and business leaders, to development staff, independent developers, part-time creators, educators, policymakers, journalists, students, esports organisations and more.
Whether you work in games, took part in the workshops in March/April last year, or are coming to the Action Plan for the first time, you’re very welcome to join any of the below workshops.
The sessions are free to attend and take place on Zoom. Sessions will be recorded to ensure that all feedback is captured and questions shared after each event to create an FAQ and include in the Changelog.
Session Dates:
- Monday 31st March – 11:00-12:00.
- Tuesday 1st April – 13:00-14:00
- Wednesday 2nd April – 11:00-12:00
- Wednesday 2nd April – 17:00-18:00
- Thursday 3rd April – 13:00-14:00
- Thursday 3rd April – 18:00-19:00
- Monday 14th April – 12:00-13:00
- Wednesday 16th April – 15:00-16:00
Feedback so far has been very good, with input from every part of the ecosystem. These drop-in sessions will allow people to ask questions, discuss the key recommendations, the thinking behind them and next steps.
I’m looking forward to seeing you there.
