Edinburgh’s Ant Workshop, in collaboration with Wales Interactive, has announced the upcoming launch of its highly anticipated roguelike deckbuilder, Into the Restless Ruins. The game – rooted in Scottish folklore – is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 15th, 2025.
To give players a tantalising first look, a playable demo of Into the Restless Ruins is available starting today on PS5, Xbox, and Steam. This offers a perfect opportunity for gamers to experience the unique blend of strategic deckbuilding and dungeon crawling.
Into the Restless Ruins challenges players to create their own dungeons using a deck of cards, and then battle through the challenges they’ve constructed. Each card played dynamically shapes the dungeon’s layout, adding buffs or curses and alters the outcome of each game.
