The Glasgow Independent Games Festival 2025 (GIGF) will take place on August 9th, 2025, promising a vibrant celebration of independent game development at the beloved Barras Art and Design (BAaD) building.
Organised by the Glasgow Independent Games Group CIC (GIGG), this year’s festival will showcase groundbreaking projects from emerging and established indie developers, alongside thought-provoking industry panels and unique, games-inspired art performances.
Building on the success of previous years, including last year’s historic event, GIGF 2025 aims to highlight the creativity and innovation driving the indie games scene while fostering meaningful discussions about the industry’s future.
