Background of founder:
A self-taught graphic designer with extensive experience in the outdoor advertising sector. Following 3 years of working abroad as an entertainer, developed an idea for a series of narratively-connected games and set about creating the Mental Universe.
Describe your company:
Mental Universe is an award-winning game development studio based in the land of haggis and Irn-Bru, or to be more precise, Glasgow, Scotland.
Our aim is to create fun, vibrant, and exciting games. In particular, we want to create story-based games with a shared narrative, combining our passion for visual flair and storytelling with compelling gameplay.
However, we are not limiting ourselves to telling our stories solely through games; we plan to extend the Mental Universe through other mediums such as comics and animations as well.

Lucid Runner, an endless runner with a story told through comics, and 1 unannounced title.
Greatest Achievements:
Winning Round 3 of the Scottish EDGE fund, which secured £50,000 of funding to develop our titles.

We’re primarily looking for any form of funding to help support our existing staff and expand the company.
