OUT NOW Ancient Battle: Alexander

Hunted Cow has released its latest strategy title for mobile phones. Ancient Battle: Alexander is the second in the company’s series, set in the distant past.

Like its predecessor, Ancient Battle: Rome, the game has been developed by strategy experts, Hexwar. Ancient Battle: Rome did very well, picking up the No.1 slot in the strategy game category on the Apple App Store in 8 countries around the world.

Never ones to rest upon their laurels, Hexwar and Hunted Cow have been working on the game engine to add new capabilities. Ancient Battle: Alexander features several major upgrades to build upon the experience found in the first game. Major game system improvements include improved A.I., improved combat analysis system, better flank attack and line of sight logic.

Ancient Battle: Alexander Includes three campaigns that allow players to experience Alexander’s battles in Greece and Macedonia, including the battle of Chaeronea. The second campaign follows Alexander’s push to conquer the Achaemenid Persian Empire, while subduing the rebellious Spartans. Finally Alexander’s campaign in India, ending in the epic battle of Hydaspes, with the Macedonian Pike Phalanx squaring up to massed Indian Elephants.
