Lords Recommend Immediate Loot Box Reclassification
The House of Lords Gambling Committee is recommending the immediate reclassification of loot boxes in videogames as gambling.
The report goes on to state that any game or mechanic which has ‘gambling like characteristics’ should be similarly regulated.
