Cobra Launches Massive Promotional Campaign With The Sun

The mark the fourth anniversary of iBomber, Cobra Mobile has launched a major promotional campaign with The Sun newspaper, giving away 50,000 copies of iBomber Defense Pacific, worth around £100,000.

Readers of The Sun can visit the paper’s website to pick up a promotional code, which will allow them to download the game for iOS.

In the four years since the original iBomber launched, Cobra has designed, developed and released a further four games in the series, moving from top-down bomb-dropping blast-em-ups (iBomber I and II), to strategic tower defence defend-em-ups (iBomber Defense and iBomber Defense Pacific), to the most recent, twin-stick, tank-based shooter iBomber Attack.

The iBomber family has picked up a slew of award nominations, critical acclaim and players worldwide.  Cobra recently launched the original iBomber in China, making the game available to over 700 million users on the China Mobile network.

The offer with The Sun is open to UK App Store users only and is on a first-come-first-served basis.  It launched on Sunday 26th, so there may be a few copies left.
