The Glasgow Independent Games Festival is a celebration of indie games brought to you by Hairy Heart Games & Hubworld – the team behind the Southside Games Festival. The new indie-centric event builds on that to deliver a bigger, better – and possibly weirder – event for 2024.
According to the organisers: “We pride ourselves in showing the most interesting, the weirdest, the most moving and unconventional games from Scotland and around the world.”
Expect lots of games to play – unreleased and upcoming titles from the most talented developers. And there’s more, including interviews, talks, music and maybe even poetry!
What’s On?
The Glasgow Independent Games Festival is an all-day event. It will feature 10 amazing indie games for you to play, from some of the most talented developers in the country.
During the day the fest will offer a series of developer talks, exploring how the games you love are made. In the evening there will be live entertainment, music, the poetry mentioned above and an award ceremony for the Best in Show award – as voted for by the audience.
