Outplay Entertainment, has launched Mystery Match Village, the spiritual successor to its popular Mystery Match, mathch-3 puzzle game on Android and iOS

The game takes players on an all-new adventure with bubbly private investigator Emma Fairfax as she returns to her hometown of Kingsfall to find her village shrouded in secrets she is eager to solve.   

Released in 2014, Mystery Match brought a new dimension to mobile puzzle games as one of the first such titles to include a narrative-driven match-3 experience. Mystery Match Village takes this approach even further, creating an experience for fans of mystery stories and perplexing puzzles alike.

Much More Than Match-3

Outplay has built a global reputation for it’s production values, and simple, intuitive gameplay. Mystery Match Village is no exception, but it takes those attributes and builds something new, intriguing and more long-term around a simple and much-loved game genre. The game introduces a host of new twists new mechanics, hidden object searches, village restoration, episodic content with a growing cast of intriguing characters that will evolve the overall plot, and more intricate clues to hone those detective skills. 

Each episode in Mystery Match Village introduces a unique case to be solved and new characters and locations to investigate. Mysteries of looted family heirlooms, missing person reports, and unexplained happenings are solved by earning Stars in match-game rounds and hidden object searches for relevant clues. By enlisting the aid of characters around town – as well as your own in-game feline sidekick (which you can name…), players can don their deerstalker, solve the mysteries surrounding Kingsfall and help rebuild the town to its former glory.
