OUT NOW – Gem Zap – From Made With Numbers

Made With Numbers, the Edinburgh-based independent development studio is back, with their new release Gem Zap.

The game challenges players to zap matching gems with their Tesla coil.  Zap three of a kind and additional time is granted.  Zap 10 matching gems to reach the next level.  You can see a sneak peek of the game in action in the teaser trailer below…

Gem Zap moves away from the now familiar ‘match 3’ mechanic, in which players must move gems, jewels, bubbles, balloons, candies, cubes, blocks, bricks or adorable animal faces, to produce groups of three or more. Game Zap instead asks players to destroy the damn things.  Only good can come of this.

The iOS version of Gem Zap is OUT NOW and costs $1.99/£1.49 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Made With Numbers promise an Android version will follow in the near future.

The company’s previous title, Sky Without Sun: Target – a game of epic destruction and survival, which is still available for iOS and Android.
