Fully Funded R&D Placements – Companies & Students Wanted

The Centre for Digital Entertainment (CDE) a partnership of Bath and Bournemouth Universities has secured funding to embed students within games companies to work on research and development projects.

They’re looking for good physics, maths and computer science students, as well as companies willing to work with them.

It sounds like a great opportunity for companies to look into areas they do not currently understand, as well as giving students a fantastic way to explore some of the more rapidly evolving areas of interactive entertainment.

13 fully-funded Engineering Doctorate studentships available in Games.

We are looking for talented computer science, physics or maths graduates and innovative companies to collaborate on R&D projects to boost growth in the creative industries.

Info for Students

You will need a strong first degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or related subjects. Excellent technical ability and programming skills are essential.

You must be a citizen of the UK/European Union or have indefinite leave to remain in the UK.
