At Outplay, we have a fantastic opportunity within our growing marketing department for a Marketing Analyst to support the marketing team with the data analysis & insights necessary to grow our games audiences.

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for complex marketing analysis, marketing data visualisation, reporting automation and effective communication of insights to support commercial and marketing growth strategy.  In addition, in this role you will analyse market trends, market opportunities and other insights.

You will be working closely with the Head of Growth Marketing, to assess the data requirements for our marketing and business needs for our live games and next releases. You will have an opportunity to play a key part in driving the next phase of Outplay growth.

The Role

Marketing Data Analysis: ability to provide robust analysis to allow the marketing team to understand the results of marketing campaigns and play a key role in identifying opportunities for growth campaigns.

Marketing Strategy Support: Work closely with marketing & UA managers to help them create strategies and measure success of campaigns, channels and customer segments performance, ensuring objectives are being met

Data Driven Decision Support: Be passionate about data driven decisions and transforming raw data into clear actionable business insights.

Insights Presentation: Interpret and present insights from data to help drive marketing efforts.

Competitor & Market Trend Monitoring: Analyse & share games sector market and competitor trends.

Coordination with Analytics & DataOps teams: Partner with the Analytics & DataOps teams to define the data roadmap for marketing & business data and link with other company data sources.


About You

Education: Bachelor in in Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing or Economics

Data Analyst Experience: relevant experience in a data science or analytics role, preferably supporting a marketing or business function.

Data Analysis & Insights Record: Past experiences of analysing and synthesizing data coming from different sources and then translating them in simple business language for stakeholders.

Excellent Communication Skills: The position requires collaboration with multiple marketing specialities and company stakeholders, requiring effective communication with a wide spectrum of people.

Pragmatic problem-solver: Outplay needs someone who looks for & suggests solutions to tackle business challenges.

Friendly and Respectful Team Player: Outplay aspires to be a positive and fun place to work, it is therefore essential for team members to bring a positive, friendly, fun & inclusive attitude to work, having a willingness to work as a team and share with others.

Passion for Mobile Games Marketing: Demonstrate a keen interest in marketing, videogames, and the mobile games industry.

Tableau experience: Any Tableau experience is a plus.

Predictive modelling: Any experience in marketing or business predictive modelling is a plus.
