Find Out What China Can Offer UK Games Studios

The games market in China has exploded the the recent past. From the rapidly evolving audience for games, through to the growing dominance on Tencent in the Western games industry, through multiple investments and acquisitions, the country has embraced gaming, especially on mobile and online.

A new event from InGAME International will share findings from it’s ongoing research into the opportunities and challenges facing UK developers when considering collaboration, co-production, or market access in China.

Additionally, the organisation will provide information on the longer term vision of the project, including plans to develop guidance, support mechanisms, and funded exchanges to China for the UK games sector.

The event takes place online on Friday 17th September from 09:00 – 12:00.

Participation

Attendance is free and will be hosted on Zoom. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to three live talks and to ask questions of the project team.

Attendees who wish to participate in a focussed discussion will have the option to join a 45-minute industry roundtable at the end of the event. This roundtable will be an opportunity to share your own experiences, interests, or concerns about accessing China from the point of view of a UK studio, which will be invaluable to the development of the project.
