Scottish Game Developers Association presents FOUR game development micro talks on the 26th of May!
The lockdowns may have stopped their popular live events, but the SGDA is back with a bang.
The Scottish Game Developers Association is presenting a series of Microtalks from a number of Scottish developers, each in 10 minutes or less!
Join them on the 26th of May from 6pm where they’ll be hosting:
- Cari Watterton – UX Designer, Puny Astronaut: 10 Reasons why you should make a Board Game at your next game jam | Twitter | Website
- Erin Stevenson – 3D Animator and Artist, Puny Astronaut: NDAs and Personal Projects Twitter| Website
- Gaz Robinson – Lecturer, Abertay University: Becoming Magnificent: Playing With Hype Twitter
- Nick Barrett – CEO, Proper QA: Top 5 Things Game Developers Get Wrong When Thinking About QA Website
As always, they will have an open floor for announcements before the talks kick off. So if you have any news you’d like to share then feel free to come down and do so! They’ll also be opening up to general networking after the talks.
Do I need an Eventbrite ticket?
No, this is mainly to keep notified and for the SGDA to get an idea of how many people will be tuning in, and reach out to people before and after the event!
Can I help?
Volunteers are at the heart of the SGDA’s work and without them they wouldn’t be able to deliver their events and activities. If you are able to contribute a bit of your time to help them run this event, or any of their other activities, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org or find them on Twitter.
Equally, the SGDA is always interested in talking to anyone who would like to sponsor its activities, whether for a specific event or more generally. Contact them at email@example.com.
You can also join the SGDA Discord channel, and find out more about the organisation and its work.
Sign up now on EventBrite and let them know you’re coming.
