There’s a brand new inter-University Jam, or Hack, or coding marathon taking place on the 11th & 12th of October.
Organised by the British Computer Society and sponsored by Amazon’s Development Centre and code ninja’s Codeplay, APParition has been created to promote the abilities and inspire competition among the region’s future coders, testers and developers.
To encourage… healthy competition and make the event great, the sponsors are giving you the chance to win £1,000, internships and some other great prizes…
The organisers are looking for 100 participants to join in, show off their skills, compete for the prizes and meet some of the country’s leading employers.
APParition is open to students from any higher education (HE) institution within Edinburgh, Fife and the Lothians.
It’s free to enter and power, internet, food, water and shelter will be provided. The venue is Merchiston Campus at Napier University, Edinburgh.
It’s free to enter. Teams and individuals are both encouraged to come along.
