Game Expo Scotland Announces First Titles

game expo scotland dead island homefrontDeep Silver will be showing Dead Island 2 and Homefront 2: The Revolution at October’s Game Expo Scotland in central Edinburgh.

The games will be playing in the Expo’s Hollywood Zone, set aside for AAA console and high profile titles.

Taking place after the events of the multi-million seller Dead Island, GES 2014 attendees will go hands-on with Dead Island 2, experiencing the visceral joy of next-generation zombie defence as they fight for their lives to survive an ever-increasing horde of the undead in California.

Homefront: The Revolution, is the story of Ethan Brady, a resistance fighter in occupied Philadelphia, fighting back against invasion from a fictional, futuristic Korean Republic, which invaded a weakened United States in the original Homefront game. Developer Crytek will also be speaking at Game Expo Scotland’s conference programme.

Mark Fisher, head of UK marketing at Deep Silver, told us:

Tickets for Game Expo Scotland can be bought online NOW, priced from £10 for an early-bird day ticket, to £35 for a priority weekend pass.
