The Edinburgh-based independent development studio Made With Numbers is back, with a major update to Gem Zap.
A new, free version joins the paid app and the game has received a huge update to change the look and feel throughout.
The game challenges players to zap matching gems with a massive Tesla coil. Zap three of a kind and additional time is granted. Zap 10 matching gems to reach the next level. You can see a sneak peek of the game in action in the teaser trailer below…
Gem Zap moves away from the now familiar ‘match 3′ mechanic, instead asking players to destroy the gems. Only good can come of this.
The iOS version of Gem Zap is OUT NOW and costs $1.99/£1.49 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. A free version is also available for the frugal and financially embarrassed.
Made With Numbers promise an Android version will follow in the near future.
The company’s previous title, Sky Without Sun: Target – a game of epic destruction and survival, which is still available for iOS and Android.
