£30M Technology Strategy Board Funding Competition

Here’s an opportunity for ambitious companies who may be considering looking beyond their next title…

The Technology Strategy Board (TSB) has launched its strategy to accelerate innovation and growth in the Creative Industries and is aimed at helping SME digital businesses develop digital technologies, platforms and services.

More than £30 million of support is being made available to SME digital businesses through a series of targeted funding competitions aimed at encouraging innovation in areas such as digital media production, engagement with local communities, location based services, as well as ‘frictionless commerce’ – further development of online business. In all, more than £30 million of funding will be available to digital businesses.

In partnership with Interactive Scotland and Creative Skillset, the TSB will be running a briefing event in Glasgow on Wednesday 2nd October at the Glasgow Science Centre to launch its Creative Industries strategy and the first two funding competitions worth £17.5m, based around collaborative research & development:
