Do you see what we did there? Happy birthday to Dundee mobile powerhouse Tag, which celebrated its fifth birthday this week. Alongside cake, jelly, ice cream and a pin the tail on the tester competition, the studio celebrated – as you would – with a 24 hour #TagHack – in which their development folks split into teams and attempt to create a working game, based around the concept of ‘rescue’.
Five teams – five original new ideas – 24 hours and quite a bit of Red Bull is going into this process. With teams including Lowest Visible Sandwich Layer, Bath Toaster, The Roger Moore Adventure Club, Thunderdeth and of course Team (there’s always one…), there’s clearly some creative talent there. Somewhere.
Tag has been painstakingly documenting the whole process over on the company blog, with concept art, videos and semi-coherent rambling form many of the teams.
